Client Objectives

Their aims were to:

  • Raise awareness (within the local community) of higher education/ degree level qualifications which are offered by the college
  • Increase open day attendance

Targeting prospective learners

Ben believed this could be done through an integrated approach – combining newspaper and social media with Out Of Home advertising.

The Campaign

Exeter College chose to approach Clear Channel due to our ability to reach their audience in all of the areas they were targeting. They wanted a real impact in their local community. Given the areas they were targeting and the people, bus shelters (Adshel) were decided to be the most effective format for this campaign.

Bus shelter advertising allowed them to communicate a powerful visual message. The colours, the text, the purpose, was to make people stop, think and act.

The Results
